Ford Assembly Plant Automation

This project involved analyzing the existing floor structure and paint booth structure to support a new automation system.  Precise field measuring was required to ensure a smooth installation for the contractor.  With a short window of time to perform the installation during the plant’s shut-down period, the design has to be exact, and the installation methods need to be determined prior to the actual installation and steel fabrication.  The result was a very smooth installation process, allowing production to resume on schedule.
